WHAT IS CITY OF GODS HALLOWEEN?
City of Gods is an immersive music & arts festival held on Halloween every year spanning 2 nights. Guests are invited to explore a labyrinth of many rooms, both indoor & outdoor spaces, featuring dance parties, interactive art installations, secret experiences, and other indulgences made for discovery and delight. The event is created in partnership with multiple Burning Man camps and art collectives, each contributing their unique creativity to this larger-than-life celebration. WHERE IS CITY OF GODS TAKING PLACE IN 2023?
City of Gods is taking place at a multi-room, indoor & outdoor labyrinth at Industry City, in South Brooklyn. The General Admission address to the event is 625 2nd Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11232 (please note, this is different from the Google address for Industry City). Guests with Premium Tickets and Table Reservations will enter through a different address.

ARE COSTUMES REQUIRED?
YES. Costumes are required to partake of this magnificent experience. The more elaborate, the better! Please see costume inspiration here. Create, don’t appropriate. The following ‘costumes’ are strictly prohibited: Native American ceremonial headdresses, Blackface, and weapons. As a general guideline, do not wear somebody else’s ethnic or racial background as a costume!

IS THERE A COAT CHECK / BAG CHECK AT THE EVENT?
Yes!
HOW DO I PAY FOR THINGS IN THE CITY?
We will be using a cashless system called Billfold at the bars in our 5 dance sanctuaries, as well as at coat check. You will get a wristband upon entering the venue that you will activate using your debit card or credit card, and then use your wristband to pay for drinks at our 5 bars.
Please remember to tip your hardworking bartenders and coat check attendants!
IS THERE FREE WATER AT THE EVENT?
Please come to the First Aid stations or the Info Booth for free water.
WHICH BURNING MAN CAMPS ARE INVOLVED IN CITY OF GODS 2023?
Check out the 2023 lineup of Burning Man camps. Proceeds from the ticketing revenue are contributed to each camp’s 501(c)3 organization to support their year-round fundraising efforts for Burning Man.
WHO PRODUCES CITY OF GODS?
City of Gods is a collaboration between House of Yes & ZERO, with individual spaces programmed in partnership with each Burning Man camp.
WHICH DJS ARE PLAYING THIS YEAR?
It is our tradition to keep the line-up for City of Gods a complete surprise. We invite you to explore the sounds and scenes of the city and discover artists throughout your experience.
CAN I UPGRADE TO A PREMIUM TICKET?
YES! Premium tickets come with complimentary drinks, coat check, food, plus an expedited entry and access to our Divinity Lounge. If you have already purchased a GA ticket and wish to upgrade please reach out to cityofgods@houseofyes.org
WILL YOU RELEASE MORE BEFORE-10:30 PM OR LOWER TIER TICKETS?
No, We will not release anymore Before-10:30 PM or lower tier tickets once they have sold out.
WILL TICKETS BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR?
No.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FRIDAY AND SATURDAY?
City of Gods takes place across two nights in order to accommodate more guests without overcrowding or overselling any individual night. The offerings of each night will be equally unparalleled and designed for discovery. If you are the indulgent type, we recommend attending both nights.
I WANT TO BRING A GROUP TO CITY OF GODS! WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO DO THAT?
We recommend booking an inclusive ticket for your group that includes entry, reserved seating, and bottle service. To do so, please reach out to our City of Gods Concierge – reservations@cityofgods.nyc
If a table reservation is not in the cards for your group, we welcome you to purchase group tickets (5 & 10 pack are available). If you need more than 10 tickets, please reach out to info@cityofgods.nyc and we’ll do our best to accommodate your group size so long as tickets are not yet sold out.
CAN I SWAP TICKETS FOR A DIFFERENT NIGHT?
All ticket purchases are non-refundable - that includes swapping for different nights. If you can no longer make the night associated with your ticket, we encourage you to arrange sales & swaps within your trusted friend network.
Ticket scammers are rampant on all social media platforms and we strongly discourage you from buying/selling with strangers. We cannot guarantee the validity of any ticket that isn’t purchased from our official ticket page, or one of our official partner pages (Eventbrite & Resident Advisor). We will not accommodate any fake tickets on the night of the event.
HOW CAN I TRANSFER MY TICKET TO A FRIEND?
For Eventbrite tickets you can edit your order information to put your ticket in someone else’s name. Please follow Eventbrite’s instructions here.
WHAT SHOULD I BE MINDFUL OF WHEN PREPARING MY COSTUME?
Any costume piece that may be construed as a weapon is prohibited. This includes toy guns, bats, bows & arrows, etc. Native American Headdresses are prohibited. Blackface & brownface of any kind is prohibited - that includes very dark face-paint covering your entire face that might be mistaken as blackface. As a general guideline, do not wear somebody else’s ethnic or racial background as a costume!
